Apple’s excellent AirPods 2 earbuds are available for $99 on Amazon. That’s a massive 35% discount from their $159 MSRP.

While not perfect, it is hard to beat the value the AirPods 2 provide at their discounted price.

AirPods 2 integrates seamlessly with other Apple products

The AirPods 2 are nearing its fourth anniversary. Apple announced the earbuds in March 2019. Despite its age, the AirPods 2 remain an ideal choice for anyone heavily invested in Apple’s ecosystem.

Thanks to the H1 chip, the earbuds will integrate with your Mac, iPhone, or iPad, allowing you to switch between them seamlessly. There’s also always-on “Hey Siri” support, so you can trigger the voice assistant anytime.

Admittedly, the AirPods 2 won’t impress you with its sound quality. They sound average at best, with the lack of active noise cancelation (ANC) being another bummer. But if you are looking for earbuds primarily to make and receive calls, the AirPods 2 will serve you just fine.

In his AirPods 2 review, Cult of Mac’s Ian Fuchs found the earbuds to fit 95% of the time in his ear. He was also impressed with the battery life, as after 4 hours of music playback, the buds had 20% juice left in the tank. Coupled with the carrying case, Apple claims the AirPods 2 can last for 24 hours.

Save big on the AirPods 2

Apple charges $159 for the AirPods 2. While this price was justified when the earbuds first launched, this is no longer the case. Compared to offerings from Samsung and Sony, the AirPods 2 feel overpriced at $159.

With Amazon knocking a massive $60 off the AirPods 2 price, though, they provide much more value for money. Plus, finding another set of wireless earbuds that will integrate as seamlessly as the AirPods with your other Apple products is hard. The variant on sale on Amazon misses out on wireless charging, so you can only charge the earbuds using a Lightning cable.
