I have tried a couple of different headset / microphone combinations and the headset is fine but the microphone is either the iPhone or zero volume – apparently in the case the iPhone thinks it is using the headset microphone.
Note that the microphone is allowed for all apps.
What might be going on here and can this be fixed?
