iphone – Is is possible to delete recently closed tabs without deleting Safari history?

  • by

I want to clear my recently closed tabs but I still want to keep my Safari history. To open my recently closed tabs, I need to long press the “+” button and then it appears.

This answer says how to delete the recently closed tabs but, while doing this, you’ll need to delete the history, and I don’t want this. It says about the same thing when I google it.

I am on iPad 6th gen with iPadOS 16.1.1 and iPhone 12 Pro with iOS 16.3.1. But I need this only on my iPad because I don’t have anything precious in my iPhone history.

My question is : Would it be possible to delete ALL recently closed tabs (in Safari) but still keeping my history, and, if possible, how?
