Several months ago I started seeing a generic document icon for ZIP files when they are shows in my Downloads stack in the Dock.
I’ve tried clearing icon caches from icon service and the Dock, but that hasn’t helped. ZIP files are associated with Archive Utility.
ZIP file icons appear correctly when viewed in Finder.
Is there a documented way to fix this? Is there a separate icon cache for stacks?
