macOS Monterey was made available to download on October 15, 2021, and the most recent version is macOS 12.6.3. The following Macs are compatible with macOS Monterey:
MacBook models from early 2016 or later
MacBook Air models from early 2015 or later
MacBook Pro models from early 2015 or later
Mac mini models from 2014 or later
iMac from 2015 or later
iMac Pro (2017 and later)
Mac Pro models from late 2013 and later
Mac Studio
