I have a Western Digital HDD 2 TB external hard drive. Because I did not use it for a while. Seems the drive has been corrupted and turned a bit raw. I believe this to be the case because the hard drive is slow to respond, some folders do not even open properly. Some of them which do, when I scroll down it get’s stuck loading. I have been trying to get as much data as I can from there but is an impossible task as it will only partially do so. Right now I am using data recovery software and have kept it running for two days straight and still it has only completed 38283658 / 3817925236 sectors. Could you please tell me solutions to recover this data more efficiently and faster. Also how to increase write and read speed of my M2 macbook pro using.
